What Are The Best 37 Inch Lcd Hdtv Sets? (it Must Be Able To Connect To An Xbox, Playstation, And Dvd Player)?
I am looking for a very good quality 37 inch HDTV. It will need to support my Xbox 360, and Playstation as well as a DVD player (later for a Blue-Ray or HD-DVD player and a Playstation 3). I want to see HD TV shows in all its glory and play all my video games in the best resolution they can support. I will be using my cable companies HDTV cable box. I have 41 inches of space (that’s the width of my entertainment unit’s TV spot) to fit the 37 inch TV. I know there are a lot of important factors into buying a quality TV such as:
- Making sure to go with true HDTV.
- Making sure the set has at least one HDMI connection port that supports 1080p and supports HDCP, to be able to connect in a Blue-Ray or HD-DVD DVD player, as well as receive and view copy protected broadcasts.
- Get a TV with a fast response rate to diminish blurring.
Any advice/experience and names of good TV’s to buy would be great.

sharp 37 inch HDTV 1080p LCD is at $1599 they are VERY expensive but they are the best.
sharp 37 inch 720p is at $1199. (don’t buy this one)
sony 37 inch LCD HDTV with 1080p is at $1899. but i would buy the sharp.
samsung 720p LCD is at $1399…they look amazing..but it’s not a full HDTV
and never buy this crap brands like…vizio..ilo..magnavox..polaroid..t… are just waste of money. (people say the vizio is good…whatever, they look awful when you compare it to the super high end brands like sony, sharp, samsung, philips, toshiba, panasonic)
to hook up your x box 360, you would want a HDMI connection. and with a dvd player, you will not need a HDMI connection unless it supports HDMI. so you will need 2 HDMI inputs(for your HD DVD or a Blu ray player in the future.)
playstaion is best with s video connection and any HDTV in the world has it so that’s not a problem.
one advice: if you have a x box 360, you can buy the additional HD-DVD player for your x box for just $199. that’s a lot cheaper than buying a new HDDVD set and you won’t need another HDMI input.
a blu ray player costs at least $500 for now and i would just buy a PS3 for the money because PS3 as a blu ray player anyway and plus you can play games on it.
so i hope this helps
